Insurance and Financial Policies
At Dermatology Practice of the Carolinas, your health, comfort, and satisfaction come first. If you have any questions about our dermatology services, including our medical and aesthetic procedures, reach out to us. We appreciate the opportunity to care for you!
We accept most major insurance companies. Patients are encouraged to contact their insurance carrier before scheduling services to ensure coverage or to call the office and discuss with us.
Please keep in mind that most aesthetic procedures are not covered by most insurance plans. However, we do accept Care Credit for any service over $200. You can apply for Care Credit at our office or on their website.
If your insurance plan requires a referral from your primary care physician, we must receive this prior to your appointment. Requests for medical records include a processing fee of $20.00.
Please have your updated insurance card with you at the time of your appointment. All co-pays, co-insurance, deductibles and payments for non-covered medical services and aesthetic procedures are to be paid for at the time of service.
Our Cancellation Policy
If you need to cancel an appointment, please let the office know 24 hours in advance. Failure to notify us within this time will result in cancellation fees of $45.00 for medical procedures and $75 for Aesthetic and Injectable procedures.
